Cancer Update

I got my CT Scan and MRI results back on Thursday. They came back stable. Thank God!! I always get so worried waiting for the results. It's so bad I end up with a horrible headache for days and I get so nauseous.

I did find out that I do have a small tear on the side of my knee. My doc [and myself!] was worried that the cancer may have spread to my knee because I could not recall hurting it at all. It feels a lot better and I don't need to go see an ortho doc yet. Hopefully it does not tear any more.

So since the spots on my lymph nodes did not grow I am allowed to stay on the drug that I am currently on and have been on for almost 2 years. Good news is if my next scan comes back and does happen to show growth there are quite a few more drugs/treatments that I could start taking. Before I got on the one I am on currently I was stuck in limbo with nothing to start. That sucked!!

Last week we lost a family member to cancer. My mom's cousin was in her mid-50's and lost her battle with adrenal cancer :( We [my mom and 2 aunt's] went down to Ohio to see her it hit me hard. I wrote about that here. RIP Sue we love you and you will be missed!!!
